I was reading this tonight and I can't believe the rumour was actually true but "Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick quoted saying that the Call of Duty franchise will head the way of World of Warcraft and become subscription-based charging $15 per-month to play.
Would I be correct in quoting all of us in saying "FUCK THAT!!!"
Also a Treyarch release added that the next installment due November 2010 would be set during the Vietnam conflict - and takes particular influence from classic movies Apocalypse Now and Platoon. No word on Dedi servers!!
