Hi all,

Just a note to let you know that our server will now be running Gungame. If you havn't played this before on CS, the rules are as follows.

1) Get a kill and you gun ranks up.
2) Knife someone and you gun ranks up.
3) Get knifed and your gun ranks down.
4) Suicide and your gun ranks down.
5) Teamkill and your gun ranks down.
6) If you kill with a gun you picked up or use the 2nd pistol (desert eagle) you won't rank up.
7) If you get to the knife level and kill someone with it...you win!!

Note: There is a grenade and knife level after all the guns. Although you will have you 2nd pistol (desert eagle) you must kill with the grenage or knife to rank up.



The following is a list of items NOT in the game.

mounted guns
c4
claymore
rpg
perks
helicopter
airstrike
uav
gun mods
weapon skins

This can be played with only one life (aka CS version) or with infinite lives. Due to the map sizes in COD4, I have set this to infinite lives.

All gametypes can still be played.

I hope this will keep some clan interest until COD5 makes an appearance.

Hey nicking my words !

I must admit Nino told Andy, we played it for about 10/15 mins till 11pm then i said i have got to do this as we were having so much fun (plus i was winning).

It took us about 10mins (our fastest implentation of a mod EVER !!!) to get it downloaded, installed, redirect setup & tested to make sure it worked. Andy had abit of fiddling/tweaking to do affterwards because he likes to have a nice tidy config and a game without all of the advertising crap on screen.

So i hope this will add abit of excitement to the game and keep us going till COD5...

OK.....I think we can agree that some didn't think much of gungame lst night. This is mainly due to players getting bogged down with crap guns with no chanceof ranking up.

Therefore I have done the following.

Reversed the gun order to - heavy - assault - smg - pistols - nade - knife.

I have removed all snipers and shotguns.


Please give it another go.....if we still don't like it, then it shall be removed.


I do agree that the previous gun order did give the players that get off to a good start a big advantage. Hopefully this should help to balance things a little. At the end of the day, if it ain't fun for all, then it isn't good for the clan. My personal opinion is that only proper team games are fun for all, where team points (mot personal stats) matter, however we simply don't have enough on to allow this.

Hopefully COD5 will give us the opertunity to increase our ranks and have some good old team scraps......

Playing it last night it seems to even out the if you lagging behind, due to you have bigger guns than your opponents. The people who ae winning have to hide abit more due to they have a pistol and you have an automatic or a big kick ass machine gun
