All the reviews are true....very linear, etc.


However, the FMV and the engine generated cutsceens are amazing. Battle system is good, once it gets going.

I love it, well worth a purchase....but then with 6 hours of top class FMV in the game, I don't even care too much about the limited gameplay.

Despite running at lower resolution on the X360, it still upscales to 1080p (effectively anti aliased), and still looks fabulous.

I can't emagine what the PS3 version looks like at full 1080 and improved lighting, bump mapping, etc.

Only downside is that it became a £10 bargin basement game in Japan after 3 weeks of release (due to massive sales and limited replay value), so it may be worth hanging on for a while for prices to drop.

I am currently on chapter 11, which is just after the Sky fortress thing where you fight one hell of a dude!!

I'm in chapter 11 (side quest 18).

Just a note to save you some time. If you go down one of the routes off the main open area and have to fight Vanilles summon thingy....you need to turn back and carry on with the side quests.
Also, at the entrance of that passage are 2 big fighting monsters. Spam them with Com/Rav/Rav for easy kill and 6600 points. Walk up the hill to the save point, walk back down and they re-appear. I did this for 2 hours and got every char fully ranked to 4 in each of the 3 standard skills, plus around 400,000 cp points to spend on each when i know what to do with them.

I think you can go back to these after the story has ended, so maybe you arn't supposed to finish all of them on the way through.

I shall have to try that Im still in that open area trying to rank up I have seen those 2 fighting each other but I wasnt sure as to weather I should fight them or not I tried one of those big dino things and it kicked my arse all over in 2 hits.

Oh yeah the final boss has 15 million hp

60 Hours in....I'm now at mission 30.....making sure I don't skip any. 600,000cp spar for each char and £350,000 in the bank!!


Are there any mods for a Light...Fang spitroast? I'm in love........

Where did you get the cash from? 27 hours in not moved much further than I was that one you told me at the top where the two monsters are fighting was rubbish 6600 and its takes ages to kill them the best one is just a little way into the tunnel the 3 bombs and 2 robot things 5100 in around 20 - 30 secs,

Personally I would go the whole way Light fang lights sister and vaniel.
