It's looking good!!
I've been playing the X360 version for a few hours last night. It runs at a rock solid 60fps on the console, so does imply there are no further hardwaree requirements than that for Cod 4.
The maps available are quite small, but with loads of cover. The texure quality, etc, may be the same a cod4, but the maps do seem more 'busy' and atmospheric.
The realy good news is the gametypes included. Capture the flag is well and truly there. There is also my second favourite that is used in day of defeat. It's one that can be played 1 on 1 or 20 on 20. It's like domination but you fight for one area at a time, pushing the enemy back.
I can't tell you what the controls are like as I am so bloody crap with a X360 controller, but everything seems to be there.
The vehicles in on the one map do seem a little penned in to certain areas. This was the bid issue with cod3. It makes them all but redundadnt, and after the novelty value, probably won't be used that much. I am hoping this was a map specific problem. I would love some big open maps to go tank scrapping in.
All in all, I am now pissing myself with excitement!!
